Bazzmatazz dance studio is based in Halifax, West Yorkshire UK.

Join Bazzmatazz for Fabulous Dance & Fitness, under the professional wing of dance teacher and choreographer Bazz Robson.

The adult dance classes are aimed at women aged 18+ and are a combination of eclectic commercial pop, jazz, musical theatre and street, with routines taught to the music of ABBA, Queen, Steps, Spice Girls, Kylie, Madonna, Whitney, Britney and plenty wonders from the West-End (to name a few).
Each session is blended together with lots of fabulous fitness. 

Dancing not only gives you a cardio workout, toning bits of your body you didn't know existed, it also releases endorphins. 
You don't even notice that you're working hard, as Bazzmatazz is more like a Saturday night out than a gym slog....
and don't panic if you haven't the rhythm of Rihanna, attitude of Aguilera or the moves like Madonna, anyone can do a Bazzmatazz dance class. 

The choreography is broken down into easy-to-learn steps, so you work your brain as well as your body. 
Then, once you can bust a move with Bazz, you'll be rewarded with a confidence boost ...as well as boost to your body.

ABOUT Bazz

Bazz studied performing arts at college and university, in the 90's - winning the Empire Theatre award for the best Performing Arts student, by the end of the 20th Century. 

He went onto dance and choreograph for many venues in the North-East and in 2001 became one of the winners of reality ITV show 'Red Hot Dance'. 
In 2002, Bazz moved to Spain and became dance captain and principal choreographer of the 6th biggest club in Europe 'BCM' - working with many artists and DJ's. 

After a performing career spanning 10 years, Bazz decided to open his own dance studio called 'Bazzmatazz', in 2006, which is still going strong. 
Throughout his career, Bazz has taught many dance workshops and performed for many charities, including Marie Curie and Children In Need, in venues such as the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. 

He has compered, hosted and judged at events including the Overgate Hospice Colour Run, Let's Dance for NSPCC and Calderdale Pride....to name a few - and many of them as his drag alter-ego 'Dame Shirley Bazzey'.

Bazz has worked for Nintendo, creating choreography on dance games for Andrew Lloyd Webber, the NOW brand, Elvis Presley and Kylie Minogue

He has also performed on a Bafta award winning BBC show and graced many stages around the world in destinations such as Cuba, Thailand and Greece.

Bazz has had the pleasure of switching on the Christmas Lights across West Yorkshire, opening Galas and hosting a web series for Yahoo UK called 'My Insiders Guide To...Halifax'. He is also a part of the committee for Calderdale Pride and a radio host on Phoenix FM 96.7, with his weekly show 'Bazz's Energy Express'. 

In 2022, Bazz got the opportunity to record and release his debut single. The track 'Speak To Me', was released and he has since worked with many producers and remixers on a handful of further releases. In May 2024, his 6th single release, 'Qu'est-ce Que C'est?', spent 4 weeks at Number One on the LGBTQ+ Music Chart. 

Bazz continues to write and record music, with his recent self-penned 'The Dame' hitting the LGBTQ+ Music Charts in September 2024.

Bazz has been teaching, choreographing, producing shows and has performed, entertained and hosted at various events, around the world, for over 25 years.
